Hard to be in the Present, January 23rd, 2024

It is easy to get caught up in Historic Precedent, what happened in the past and what it means. That has potential to lead to less ability to appreciate that current situation is dynamic, subject to change, that change is possible, that change might be desirable, that change has continuous ability to shift in the wrong directions.

Getting caught up in what the past means might sometimes be like looking in the rear view while trying to drive, yet many times when people are learning, they are learning based upon data and training from the past – we don’t read textbooks written on the current day usually. It might be easy to set society to past things like racism and sexism yet that is not full appreciation that it is a continuous battle. Not full appreciation that when progress isn’t being made sometimes progress is being lost.

Progress factors into Progress maintained. If I stop progressing at something like a musical instrument I might stop playing, then when I play it at a later time I will have practiced less because I was discouraged by inability to progress rather than encouraged by gains made. Gains Made factor into Future Gains Made. Gains are not always easy, continuing forward in discouraging times, times where progress might be being made yet is hard to see factors into Better Gains in the Future.

If I am a writer I might write 5000 words one day, and 5000 words the next day. I might not see the progress in my own writing that others might see. 5000 words the same as 5000 words? Impact of 5000 words after 30 days of writing – 150,000 words is allot of words to refine skills yet on day 30 one would have 5000 words same as day 1. Clarity and Impact that has potential to grow might be given up on early.

I want increased communication skills, capacity to communicate for all that don’t wish to hurt others. Powerful communication might be turned into Hate Speech or Propaganda, capacity to run Corrupt Political Campaigns and Policies. Every English teacher teaching students consider that they might be teaching the next Politicians? Think better of others, nobody has potential to become an Evil Dictator? Desire All English teachers to consider that when training their students?

Decentralized Learning is In By Design, People that might have Evil Intentions could order books to increase their skills. Putting all the burden to find and root out Evil on Teachers seems unwise. See No Evil and thinking better of others matters, finding evil paths like those that lead to corrupt dictators has shown historic precedent for amplifying less than ideally over time. Visibility is less than ideal, obfuscation is in by design, should not be equated to ideal capacity to limit, perceive, or comprehend potential threats.

Some of the more obvious threats that are in by design, have been left in by design (Arab countries allowed to be Anti-Israel, Antisemitic) – threats are known by the World, threats are not ideally or sufficiently challenged does not equate to not challenged does not equal consequential. Hard to tell English Teachers to prevent Evil Dictators when the World leaves the potential in by design. Level of problem factors into where resources are perceived to need to be delivered. Abortion Ban Thoughts

I have spent much of my life pro-life. Lately I am more of the opinion of deferring judgment to medical professionals. Concentration camps and Rape is a possible combination, makes thoughts around banning much more difficult in my mind. Our country will insure negated oppression everywhere, throughout time?

Seems wiser to concentrate on preventing unwanted pregnancies through better decision making and a society that turns up less of an environment that fosters unwanted pregnancies than trying to ban and block all abortions. Incest, Rape, and Systemic Oppression that might include Sexual Assault doesn’t seem possible until it does. A society that ideally fosters women are never put in a situation that makes them desire abortion for non-medical reasons seems a more desirable route. That said I am a man, thus there are likely some factors I cannot fully perceive or comprehend.

I want babies blessed and protected, and I want women blessed and protected in a way that doesn’t make them feel robbed, have zero options.

All that said, systemic oppression and forced abortions also something to keep on the radar to make sure never happens.

Men and Women, Humanity has shown historic precedent throughout time for not always delivering oppression free environments. People thinking about taking a woman to court might want to insure there is sufficient oppression reduced in the system first – law and legalism, jail and oppressive environments do not always fix things ideally.

Typing Practice with Encouragement

I am listening to encouraging music (JennyMusic channel on YouTube) while practicing typing skills. My actual speed has not seen major gains just by listening to the music, but listening makes the process more enjoyable, and thus more likely to be reinvested in. Practice and amount of practice factors into gains, thus I think listening to encouraging music while practicing has potential to increase gains in typing speed. Typing sometimes with music has potential to give consistent rhythm to throughput, drives progress forward.

If I am in the darkest depth of Space, freezing cold I would not want to see Evil, Nazis, Suicide Bombers from the Rising Sun, Genocide, or Burning Crosses on Church’s Lawns. Blonde Hair is pretty, the warmth of a torch is less than all value out, light from the sun brings hope. Less bias, less racism, less antisemitism, less racism against Oriental and Asians, capacity to value diversity, taught in advance factors into a better future, is high value added, and is far less than ideally turned up in this world. There is oxygen in the room to teach it today, will there be tomorrow?

Easy to take the good times for granted, a future population that is unlikely to always mesh well together on this planet, a future population that is likely to be encouraged to mesh less well together, prevented in advance?

“We will never be one of them, no matter how hard we try” is a thought likely to amp, thinking better of others is hard. Negate inclusivity and reason to doubt to better?

Important to see the good, reasons to hope, even when it is hard to, when it feels like there is no path forward. Truth and Comprehension amplify less than ideally See No Evil potentially not always valued to the level it should be.

Can’t remember if this Dream was yesterday January 20th, 2024 or today January 21st, 2024

I have had a dream about a friend I knew growing up. I can’t remember the exact words said. I remember it being dark in the dream, nighttime I think.

I don’t know if the friend still exists or has already passed on – difficult to know how life has change for people I have known over my lifetime. Not knowing, not having talked to anytime recently combined with my own struggles, my own near encounters with death it almost is like I am talking to them in another reality, like I have already passed into a different reality, or possibly they have. Might just be my mind having combined ideas and memories. Could be a demon, what God allows and does not allow is not always known to me – doesn’t feel evil does not equate to zero less than ideal potential.

Dreams that are relevant, that inspire thought are in by design, have potential for real effects on perception of reality and events, and are understood less than ideally. Maybe God will show all the dreams we had at the end of life and show purpose for each one?

Easy to comprehend everything God allows in, God lets happen? Likely things I don’t know might never know might never comprehend. Pursuit of ideal truth and representation of reality sounds nice. Yet the words on this paper (file) wouldn’t have been written without the dream. The dream invests in communication, writing, words written, computers and processors like the one I am typing this on, on Open Source Software (OpenOffice Writer where I am writing this document).
