Idea: Giant copper pipe into outer space that cools the Earth to help prevent Global Warming
Supporting Argument: Space is really cold, copper transfers heat well, sky elevator with dual purpose cooling and potential to elevate and launch rockets without Earth’s atmosphere could be valuable, cheaper satellite deployment, one time cost might beat combined rocket fuel required, combined CO2 emissions from rocket fuel launches over time, could put solar panels on outside potentially increasing value, energy, and energy transfer potential
Against: potential for magnetism, would need lights to show planes where it is, copper not that strong on its own might have to be an alloy, tower of babel did not work out well, likely to get hot in sun, space is a long way – would need allot of materials, God not all Hurricanes or Tornadoes out, repairs likely to be extremely costly – window washing at 50,000 feet?
