“Do not repay Evil for Evil”, “Vengeance is God’s” not man’s
If someone does someone else wrong, the instance response might be to do the same wrong to the person that perpetrated the wrong. “Eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind”.
“Eye for an eye” is problematic. Everyday tech gains increase potential for wrongs to be perpetrated in new and different ways, ways that might follow law but break morality.
If someone tries to get me to be gay, amplify homosexuality around me against my will, against the golden rule they are reinforcing the support and networks that make that possible on January 10th, 2024. Not punish the networks, company, and support networks that make that help make that possible? January 10th, 2025, 2030, 2035 there will be much faster supercomputers, greater Artificial Intelligence, much more known then that wasn’t known before, not appreciate the potential for non-proportional retaliation turned up via technology gains overtime?
The future amplifies greater proportionality equates to injustice, injustice that has the potential to be re-payed and amplified with greater proportionality. The combination could, has high potential for scaling out of control in a way that is bad, detrimental for society. Future protected better does not always equate to similarly proportional responses, humans that have less obfuscation and greater capacity to weigh and deliver assessment and judgment. “Don’t Judge” and “Vengeance is God’s” not man’s matters in not fully appreciated ways. Less re-amplification of “tit for tat” might factor into a future that is exponentially less horrific.
Man’s punishment set to sufficient comprehension over God’s punishment to make a better future seems unwise.
I want people to understand homosexuality is amplified by default in our society without trying to amplify more of it? Yes. Exists by default factors into capacity to be forgiving. I don’t want people to be amplified into homosexual and I don’t want homosexuality (that is amplified by default in our society) to be hurt, or punished by insufficient human capacity to judge. Christ said let those without sin cast the first stone at the one accused of adultery for a reason. Trust man to sufficiently claim grounds on without sin? Amplifies by default could set all taxpayers and non-taxpayers to culpable in not fully appreciated ways.
