Reminder I am not a Preacher, Minister, or Priest

“But love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful” (Luke 6:35-36).

People have tendency to paraphrase, trying to comprehend people might set the combination to give and expect nothing in return.

If someone gives training, education, a lesson. Expecting nothing out of those that are learning might lead to less learned. Burdens for students not all good, giving a safety message without people realizing dangers and being safer is a level of expectation.

If I give to a Charity, I don’t always have the time of day and motivation to track down and make sure every penny is used ideally for all parties. That said I give and I expect it to get to and help those in need. Less people suffering set to an expectation, one shouldn’t invest in?

If a Preacher gives a sermon, expect nobody to be saved, nobody to learn from the value delivered? Does Faith equate to expectation, expectation on things that cannot always be proven, have truth amplified on in ideal lights? If a Preacher is helping someone on one side of town he is taking it on faith that others on the other side of town are done right by, no faith could lead to constantly stuck in the middle never helping anyone in the process.

There is value in expecting nothing in return. People that give don’t want to be leverage to others. Expectation is not always ideal leverage out.

If you are a CEO and have 1000 employees. All of them set to giving their time, days of their life freely, expecting no salary in return does not seem like it would amplify Golden Rule sufficiently. Less dehumanization and slavery turned up matters, gets less than ideally turned up in society as shown via historic precedent, Humanization and Dignity, not treated as a slave factors into the Golden Rule. People have fought and died for Human Rights because they think it is a cause worth dying for – if someone is willing to die for it then they are worthwhile to invest in protecting for all.

More Human Rights and Dignity invested in, in advance, will likely lead to less desires for change and war, less desire for change and war factors into peace. “Blessed are the peacemakers…” – Matthew 5:9. There are likely others in society that might like to invest in similar words as well, what is given is more than what is seen and read.

Computers, mouse click, expect nothing to happen? Red light turns to green light, not teach others to expect people will move forward? Expectation might lead to not walking into the street.

Less Dehumanization and Slavery

A citizen, any citizen has potential to be set to a criminal, as someone that is less desirable to have around, reduces profit by presence. Allowing this is not good, has shown precedent over time for being misused and reused as a way to reinforce power and people that already have money and power.

Prison and Jail workers are treated at the same level as other humans and workers in society, or not considered at same level? A society that shows throughput can be enabled and reinforced based upon paying other citizens less than what we deem as required for humans is consequential.

The idea might be that hard work is good, criminals get options they might otherwise not have. That said reinforcing in the minds of fellow citizens that they are less than in society, when society hasn’t been perfect before, isn’t perfect now, reinforces LTIs less than ideals on the common seems problematic in many regards.

Throughput gains based upon less oppression matters and are not ideally turned up. Someone that is worked to death in the Texas sun, is different than someone who has air conditioning, has proper nutrition and water, is paid sufficiently, and is treated with dignity and respect as a human being. If it factors into and facilitates the roads we drive on better to know we are reinforcing throughput that values and respects human life and dignity for all citizens.

Mindsets matter, factors into potential for less child labor conditions that might not always ideally be given oversight – border problems in Texas are real, oversight is less than ideal, reinforced less than ideally and that might lead to undocumented workers that might not have their humanity respected sufficiently.

Faster, more supported paths to citizenship might lead to greater levels of humanization less potential unknowns and that seems worthwhile to turn up.

A Gun on a Police Officer’s Belt

What does it mean?

It means authority has the potential to take life when it sees fit.

If there is a crazed gun man in a mall, shooting up fellow citizens, that is a good thing – ability to stop swiftly matters.

If authority is corrupted, and likely is in some countries then a gun on a police officer’s belt might represent systemic oppression, losses that can’t be fully gauged or communicated.

Leaders, including World Leaders are authority, but they don’t walk into Peace talks with two revolvers and a cowboy hat. Less than ideal leverage factors into leaders capacity to communicate, extra leverage like guns at the table likely not ideal leverage out to facilitate greater peace.

Deterrence has value does not always equate to ideal comprehension of value it adds and subtracts.

I don’t want people messing with me, I don’t want people messing with others, I also don’t want people thinking I will go wild west on the place to stop the problems.

Deterrence, like a gun on the belt, or connections to authority might lead to perception of oppression. Perception of oppression influences decision makings like who people date, who people can make friends, what career paths people may pursue in their life does not feel like ideal American Dream – I want better for others.

Might be a good idea at times to turn up back off on people given unknowns, has the potential to disenfranchise the wrong fellow citizens without trying to. Authority that has gun on the belt might encourage people to not be close in proximity, further away is not always ideal support, ideal conversation inspired.

I want cops and authority to have friends, I want all people to have friends and be supported. I will say reminders of potential for death like seeing guns might lead to less feeling of open conversation.

Add in oppression, changing political climates people might get saddled with less than ideal burdens. Non-violent actions and movements, protests that don’t include violence might factor into less police with riot gear, less problems in advance is powerful hard to ideally turn up.

Friends growing up might get set on both sides in different ways, when I was younger I know I didn’t have full appreciation for complexities, can’t say I fully comprehend complexities now. Friends set against each other happens, gets turned up based on a lot of factors, more than just the friends interactions themselves. Blessed are the peacemakers, and desire to profit, make support sufficient in life, make gains, choose teams, choose sides might less than ideal that peace, equating to less blessings, and as I want others to be blessed trying to inspire better for the future seems apt.
