Words are for making other’s lives better. Words are for making one’s own life better. Words are for making profit. Words are for reinforcing strong brands. Words are for language, sentences, proper grammar, easier translation. Words are for encouraging and inspiring.
Words mean to do right by people, don’t always do right by people. Words mean to say what we are thinking in the most profitable way possible, does not mean the set one chooses will always deliver ideally.
Words can take many directions. Initial concepts and choices, directionality not always chosen ideally. One topic can lead to another, words meant to inspire and help people see better days might overlap topics that are pain and hurt, or are power and need to be guarded.
Words can mitigate risk, yet words mitigating risk is not always a guarantee. A High Voltage sign can be overgrown and unseeable which could lead to the wrong person crossing the fence. A High Voltage sign, words intend to protect, save life, intends to is not always delivery.
If words have potential, greater probability for non ideal delivery, is listening, reading more or less important? I would argue more important, but reading or writing, listening or speaking is not an excuse for not taking action, action like maintaining our system, support, and hope.
Words are doing something, non-null amount of finger movements, voltages through neurons while typing, expending of caloric energy, moving neurons both in the hands and in the brain. Yet if I type when I should be cutting down overgrown foliage on a High Voltage sign, and I really doing right by people, or vice versa, clean signs and not typing? There are only two options.
Chicken before the egg problem. You want the words to inspire and captivate as if you have read every book on Earth in their best lights. Yet reading those books take time you don’t truly want to invest, and you know as you might not have time to read their words, they might not have time to read yours.
Is it wrong to tell the reader what they want? If I am the writer, I am the reader, nobody else will see these words? Words that nobody else can hear or see? What good do they do?
AI, Products, Software, Supercomputers, and Quantum Computers already know the design they want? Or is that still being defined and refined? For better or worse, good or evil, support for my future, or support for others? There is profit in being invested, able to make a difference in advance.
Access will not ideal. Known who will have access when and how is not a guarantee. Wide gamut of people and cultures involved with reading. Build in no offsets, no 5% extra grace for the unknown, for the unknowable?
It will get will be reversed.
