Overcast cloudy day, still getting 100w (max on buck converter with Anker C300X) this is with 2 400W solar panels now in parallel. Order more pieces that would make this whole setup more enjoyable, yet getting weird cancels on my card, and unable to access ATM – which might make it so I can’t get my purchase back from the pawn shop. Is annoying having my ATMs turned off.
I turn up liquidity, I turn up math, then I am getting my ATM turned off, just me or others, not sure. Supposed to rain by 3 PM, it is 1 PM right now, at 72% on the battery. Starlink Mini seems like it is getting a better reception today than other days, placement is a bit better today I think (not always simple within the city to find an open enough sky.
Wind seems to be the opposite of power with these mobile solar panels – they have a big surface area, catch the wind and get turned over so they are no longer grabbing photons from the sun. Irony invest in green as solar value added yet wind is value subtracted. Tying things down, together is a bit of an art – I originally am too lax with it, think no big deal then the wind picks up, like a car with no parking break on the top of a hill – wind not always thought of as such.
Waiting on the Jackery 2000, not sure how much solar input it handles, think at least 400W, the numbers have been a bit hard for me to read on Amazon. With parallel hopefully it will be solidly capped at 400W – still a big improvement. There is a certain number of good hours with mobile solar panels maybe 10AM-5PM in Dallas. If I had a better setup for angling I likely could use more hours in the day. Mobility and placement not all ideal alignment.
I like the 200W Rice Maker – likely takes 30% of battery or so for one batch of rice on the Anker C300X. A Batch for me is usually 1 cup or 2 cups of rice which increases to 4 or so once expanded. Need a way to clean it better, not sure maybe disposable bags with dish soap that put water and dish in then throw away once done?
Insufficient public trash cans and bathrooms makes Dallas feel kind of lame to me. Like a dehumanization reminder – you not all human, you less than us. We are in the time of AI and Supercomputers but I am supposed to use chamber pots is not all pretty. Businesses I can use the bathroom at, yet does kind of feel like a bit of IoC (Inversion of Control) though likely not meant that way. Churches and Militaries with IoC – they need to think about how bad they are, then once they realize it, they will beg us for forgiveness for their failure – not an all pretty mat.
Singletons as dependency injection? They can’t be trusted to have money, make choices about their mat? More might be going on, I can think of quite a few ways this could happen, not sure any of them are right or none of them are right.
The Anker C300X seems to give 5% battery every 20 minutes when capped at 100W, so maybe 2 hours (15% per hour * 2) per rice batch.
