Homelessness Survival

People think because you have money you will always have a place to stay – sounds good, doesn’t always deliver in practice.  You could lose your id, people could be required to have an id to get a hotel room.  You could get evicted from an apartment, and not be able to afford a hotel – an apartments might not lease to you if you have an eviction within the last 3 years.

People are homeless because they have no money – sounds likely in most scenarios.  You give because they have less.

People give because they have the right idea about what a persons situation is, seems unwise.  Expectations might be created – one reason why giving food is nicer at times than money – they can’t use it for drugs, or alcohol – hard to trade, food spoils swiftly.  That said, more money might equate to capacity to travel, capacity to get to a place where support will be greater.

All people’s situation is different, if they have bad PR, public image – it might be bad where ever they go in a country.  I might want someone on the streets PR to be better, but I might not have enough money to give them a plane ticket home.

Even if one has money to give, they might not be able to wire it.  Trapped at the top of a skyscraper around nice things but unable to deliver seems unlikely – but I believe it could happen in practice.

I think a one person tent, a cold weather sleeping bag, bottles of water, possibly solar panels and power stations solves some problems – it is shelter, but shelters without bathrooms or water close by make it more complex.  Public water fountains are nice, sometimes bathrooms require buying from a business, not many public restrooms in some cities.  Fitness club membership sometimes have showers, pools, and bathrooms to use which is nice.

Public laundromats require people to walk to them and lose quite a bit of time – having a washer and dryer in an apartment is a huge time saver – when you are less enabled and have less energy it is harder to have clean clothes which is not all pretty.  It leads to throwing away good clothes at times, buying new clothes on the fly, which is money losses.  Homelessness increases waste, and that is not all pretty, efficient.

Cities might try and consolidate homeless problems, and homeless shelters to one part of the city.  I like pretty cities, I also don’t think gentrification is all pretty.  Consolidated out of sight – others don’t have to see you in an ugly state, there is pretty in that.  Reinforcing people only have to love your neighbor and since your proximity is no longer close – none of my concern – not all nice.

Posted on a Starlink Mini – you don’t see it in these shots

Satellites probably see the same, giving some context not all value out

Personal Notes – morning time is cold between 4-6, daytime in a tent can start feeling like a sauna even in winter

I like the bigger power stations, I don’t really like that they slow down after 80% charge.  There is limited capacity on inputs which I think could be improved.  Like I have solar 100W and 140w port I should be able to get 240w, but it seems like it is limiting the input of multiple solar panels – didn’t really have that problem on the Anker C300 DC, the Anker 300X has the solar port open and closes off one of the 140w USB C ports.  The Ecoflow has two ports but haven’t been able to use two Anker Primes to charge both ports at the same time.  The Ecoflow does work with one in Solar input and one in 140W USB C.  Think it is the same on the Anker 300X.

I like the Anker 300x can charge from the wall or other inverters at 330W – haven’t tried it yet though.  My car inverter I could use on the Ecoflow but the inverter is only 140W I think.

I do like the products are off the shelves, being used, and helping with World Peace.  The clouds are shading a bit, the electric tower (telephone pole) is in the way of the sun – they give power they don’t take it!  Skyscrapers that take sun from solar panels of homeless not required to give free charges?

Restaurants and Grocery Stores have turned off their electric outlets – might be a way to reduce people just charging and not buying anything.  Something people might count on might be taken in harder times of their lives, like when they are homeless, or in the middle of wars.  On the plus side it promotes new solutions like mobile power stations, and solar panels – battery backs nice these days, really any need to charge at Starbucks?  But there might be pretty girls to talk to, not with all the engineering you’ll be doing.  H is F sit to not all pretty.

Thoughts on money you get from a gas generator vs a cheap solar panel – $50 of gas likely can get you miles, a $50 mobile solar panel might give you a phone charge for a year.  Maximizing ROI not always simple and straightforward.  Less invest in Gas might mean less Gas stations, Less Gas stations not all greater for rural areas.  Not sure what margins are on convenient stores in small towns – less available not all ideal – saving lives, resources available in advance is power.

Emergency Solar charging stations for people traveling with an electric car might be a nice addition.  I would probably keep an extra solar power station and two or three solar renogy 400W blankets in the car if I had an electric vehicle – doesn’t fix the problem with less bathrooms, need for water.

Should men on electric scooters be required to carpool? Sounds kind of gay to me.

Less sq ft less power – not all pretty

i=0 to infinity { cram them in; fork it over } has to be a better alternative

I would say save him, but…

Who is Him? Him is whoever you want it to be, sweetheart

How many people in the world know AI exists? Less access, less awareness, potential for vast differences day to day?

Everything as a faith test? Won’t label me as the devil, my support as the devil?

Similarities between someone in a Coma and someone in Jail? People on the outside not always trying to make it better?

If you are the only person in the room, less people to talk to, but less people to yell at you, H I value de-ow? True

But everyone, and I mean EVERYONE needs to be yelled at all day long – what you disagree?

Might teach me something, can’t have that now…

I invest in Legos as a child, now I see a Lego store, Luke 6:38, do I have the right context?

H I grow generosity from F I A Altruism, frozen assets like time, resources, and funding – no real way to weigh it, ideal justice for it seems unwise to be set to possible to turn up

Imagine someone stole an hour of your time a year ago vs today? You might trade one for the other, but you would know they would have distinctly different inputs and outputs

Reading is an investment – might be less in the wrong place at the wrong time, same might be said for writing – a mutually beneficial relationship

Imagine someone puts a hole in your tire while you sleep. You wake up and you have 3 tires and 1 flat one, and you aren’t going anywhere. You don’t like being forced to walk – you like exercise, but you don’t like being forced to exercise. You like cars, you don’t like having to fix cars and maintain them. The combo does not equate to putting a hole in my tire is legit

Metaphorical baby, an extra document is putting a hole in my tire

H I know stick stick, H I know stick the stick, H I know stick the F in it?

A regular stick, a sticker, a police baton, a teacher’s switch, a nurse’s needle? 10 you know stick?

I like Band-Aids fee an ouch, I don’t like Fee A ow, set to China for sitting close to the ketchup and mustard, call it as it is a ginger and a blonde, subtle

H-ed the H-in? That doesn’t follow protocol

Open electric outlets on lamp posts, free power or not free power?

Charging a phone might be more forgivable than charging a car? Electric bikes and scooters in between, electric blanket on a cold night?

H I grow component might ow to H I grow component might ow? How about we not do it that way

The component is useful for the smaller solar panels, was trying to get the bigger ones working, nice to know it exists

Trying to get the 40V on the 400W panel to be usable in the 12V to 30V range

Thought I was buying 20 to 70V in to 20V out, not what the component says on the sticker

Waste not want not – solar panels sitting unused not all pretty – mobile kind of designed for that

Past 85% an not capped at 40W, feels gamed a bit

Daft Punk One More Time? That’s not “stronger, faster, lighter”

It is hard to get one to charge the other, might need a 12v 140w USB c adapter

I also use Anker Prime 737 power banks – can charge them with 60w solar panels that give about 40w from USB C, then combined them charge the bigger units at 140w

Expanding a solar panel is a variable investment, ROI of different watts each day

lithium iron phosphate batteries that last for 10 years? That is not forever

Shows the products, might see some of the quirks, less gotchas for others

There is no Peace vector in that – can be stated in the negative

Juxtaposition metaphorical A ow?
