Precision in Proactive Peace

Thoughts

Precision and accuracy is important.  When trying to fix a problem not being accurate with solutions has potential to be costly.

People want to fix problems and make things better.  Projections do not always line up with reality.  There is hope and possibility in the unknown.  Just because something can’t be fixed today does not mean it can’t be fixed tomorrow.

Precision and accuracy matters.  Goals reliably obtained has potential to lead to more ambitious future goals.  Engineers build on simplicity – small working components that can be combined into something more meaningful.  One page adds value, many pages create a book.

A future where citizens are protected from bombs dropping and violence in the streets is something worthy of investment in today and tomorrow.

Being more precise with analyzing problems might lead to one tire fixed, or the right part of one tire fixed, versus having to change all the tires on the car.  Precise is more cost effective has the potential to lead to more capacity for and access to generosity.

Precision has capacity to clarify problem solving and reduce time costs.  If there are 10 fake problems and 1 real problem – the 9 fake problems take time, energy, and resources.  More enabled can increase throughput on problems solved.

People likely have relationships that are on the border line at times.  They get upset, don’t fully make decisions on right and wrong at times, and yet divest from peace invested in, real conversation.  More enabled to find resolutions, work together is a flashlight, a flashlight that might help and give information in tough times that otherwise might not be seen.  Making peace swiftly, investing in more good faith, and grace goes a long way in advance.

Up in the air – forgive or don’t forgive, is a problem is not a problem, is my problem is not my problem, worth investing time, thought, and effort into is useful or not useful – deferred judgment is amplified by less than ideal communication channels, does not equate to fixed is less enabling.  Better communication channels gives flex, less need to walk on egg shells.

I like most people don’t want to stay mad, prefer to forgive swiftly.  Less of a problem today might equal less momentum for more of a problem tomorrow.  I have heard something similar to the phrase “you can be right or happy” – while I see the wisdom in the saying, coming from a software and engineering background – if I am not right, I might amplify less happiness – like if an app icon was completely off the screen, or a poor user experience was set as sufficient – good user experience – the right way to make a product – might be deferred.  Thus right factors into being happy, creating a more encouraging world, yet right does not always get amplified ideally – right, an economic downturn, need to save versus right as work together and inspire generosity.
