In By Design as Kinda Cool

I liked toy guns growing up (my dad was in the military).

Seeing we have amazing tanks, guns, and warships is both cool and reassuring.

Now the problem is does that create the best mindsets for the future generations?

Think of The Roman Colosseum – History matters.  Built in Roman times yet survived two world wars.  Yet slaves likely built it and died in it, it wasn’t destroyed, and then the USA had slavery.

Will Pope Leo and The Vatican change that?  Will they unbuild what was built under oppression?  Might lead to more visits to Rome and The Vatican – which might lead to more interesting – visit Rome with less to see?  Kept around might lead to more around, more potential to be saved by The Vatican – though I am not sure it doesn’t inspire non-ideals.

Slavery not cool.  History is cool.  Repeating History like slavery is not cool.

The Colosseum in-ed is a reminder that State Up (like in Roman times, in Nazi times) wasn’t an all good thing. Though the reminder might get set to common place, just how things work which might not be ideal stand up against unjust authorities. Further like the Statue of David, could be used as a tuning fork for those that are looking to judge, see how people think about things, and what they should do about it.

Take a foreign ambassador to the Colosseum and ask their thoughts on war, peace? Could be used for good or evil, might inspire distrust. I am not an expert on demons or curses, the place is likely a cemetery not sure on spirits at rest or not at rest – all as a back thought on the minds of those talking.
