Russia and Ukraine War
Is Russia culling the herd? It is a thought I have had before but I haven’t said. Lots of aristocrats, oligarchs in Russia, but not all can be – sets the stage for glory for the less useful?
Freeze to death live a meager life vs live as hero (or at least sold as)?
Has the thought be entertained? Could the thought save lives, bridge divides, and reduce imperialism? The Bible says Love your enemy and blessed are the peacemakers – ideally investment would equate to a better reality for all.
Long term sanctions leads to only viable option is die in a war for land that is made under less than ideal grounds and authority? Part of the problem is buy in – in my opinion – Russia has already attacked Ukraine, yet it would look bad to citizens who have already lost many to say attacking Ukraine is not all wise going forward. The is momentum and we need de-acceleration – ideally as an abrupt stop.
Could I have it all wrong? Yes. Have I seen it solved via status quo? No.
