Thoughts of a cat.
Imagine you have a cat that is an awesome friend for 5 years and then you get killed by a psychopath in the middle of the night. A cat is not a guard dog, was not trained to be a guard dog. Killed by a psychopath does not equal your cat loved you less. Your cat might think I could of done more but they weren’t created or designed for that, and if they had been replaced with a brutal guard dog half starved, that animal might have broken the leash and hurt someone on the friendly side versus the enemy.
