Caution: I am not a Lawyer, do not provide legal advice. Following is some thoughts from someone who wants to see our system and world be better.
Actions and punishment to a fight for narrative.
Is Punishment synonymous with Abuse?
People might do something wrong. People might make a mistake. The two have potential to be set to equal yet are not always equal. It is possible to make a mistake without intent, it is possible do wrong in a non-flawed way (not a mistake). Wrong itself is likely to be set to a mistake, if you want to do wrong do you really comprehend things in ideal ways?
Authority factors into who is punished and who is not punished, who is set to in the wrong and who is not set to in the wrong (which helps reinforce those set in the right). If authority is set to an abuser, one that facilitates human rights abuses it will be set to in the wrong, and thus lose power, including power of who to set as is in the right.
Imagine you run a stop light – against the law. You might agree that running a stop light is wrong. Now imagine those that fine you take the money they fined you and use it to abuse others (like turning up corrupt jails and prisons). You allowing them to fine you, reinforcing they are in the right is consequential. Thus with oppressive corrupt cops not running red lights might be the more value reinforcing option. I think our system is to that level? No. If I include solitary and other biases fully factored in might I think our system is to that level at times? Yes.
Imagine a psychopath leads to making the career and fame of a star prosecutor. Then that star prosecutor is emboldened with pride and narcissism and decides to go on an unjust prosecution spree. Less crime in advance (less injustice in advance) might lead to less injustice in the future. Injustice in the past might predict more injustice in the future.
Why is Corrects synonymous with Punishment?
Is Corrects synonymous with Abuse?
Correctional Facility? Punishment Facility? Abuse Facility?
Always worthy of remembering Correctional Officer might not be doing the abuse, other inmates able to correct each other via proximity as ideal value added? Less proximity to shivs might be more correctional at times, likely not always fully pondered.
Is this document abusive? Does it turn up or turn down legalism? Preference for turning up less abuse though turning up the system, interest, and comprehension around it might be less de-up than one would prefer. If is have cake, eat it too, as if no cake was ever presented? We are not required to include that in the evidence. What cake?
