Reminder Texas summers are hot, do not leave your children unattended in hot cars.
On a different note, fellow Texans might leave other fellow Texans that are homeless with limited access to water and support on 100 degree plus days? I would like to think Texans are bigger than that. Everything is bigger in Texas, including generosity and support?
Stay hydrated – I will say hot temperatures ifs the mind in ways people that haven’t experienced it can’t comprehend – my guess is cold temperatures could do the same. 2+2=3, 2+2=5 the brain stops cutting clean is hard to fully appreciate if you haven’t experienced it.
The less nice version
The world we live in. Finances and adequate support will be robbed. When the robbed person is put on the street they will be set to mentally incompetent, mental illness. Doctors that could fix real health problems of those labeled wrongly will prescribe profitable new drugs that haven’t been fully tested that affect the brain, while failing to solve more complex health problems. You have a broken leg, antidepressants clearly the only cure? You expect not to be robbed? Clearly antidepressants are the only cure?
Maybe the problem is thinking society will fix this. Maybe we should all get boats and sail to international waters. Keeps on returning to the same F met plan that wrecks the future. Maybe they are just trying to be Golden Rule to people so they don’t have to see undesirables sitting on the streets? Not really pretty. A part of society set to fat, set to mentally ill just like cutting fat off the steak? You know the if, ifs A throw it away.
