Some of the headlines around Illegal Immigration made me think about due process. I am not a lawyer and can’t see the legal landscape (I am not in court rooms or at law firms). I learned somethings about due process listening to the following video. Due process facilitates human rights and protection of democracy, seems like something worthy of turning up.
Thoughts on corporations as a person. May corporations be compelled to incriminate themselves? Also thoughts on confiscation without just compensation on a personal or corporate level.
Thoughts of different political parties and fair elections – all voters and citizens provided due process factors into perception of less leverage and oppression, which factors into fair elections perceived and winners of elections appreciated.
Fair elections likely leads to less riots and more community service (collaboration, peace building, and open communication channels), facilitates citizens thinking better of each other and benefit of the doubt.
Thoughts listening of how we incorporate in grouping and equality categorization and classification in non ideal ways. Metaphors are an example of how we turn this up on the common and might factor into law, weighting, and judgement. Is and is not, how they apply on systemic and computational levels, from their example of hair braiders as cosmotalegists.
