Videos might be slightly more adult than some people might like – does reinforce the need for Privacy, that privacy abused might be leverage in non-ideal ways against the democratic process (not a thought people always have)
Watched Ted-ed on Ethics of Privacy(one that is a bit more adult), and another on Ethics around Lying (available on YouTube)
Thoughts of combining with Research Ethics video into a blog post
Thoughts of Privacy concerns around mass populations might make lying useful, might also lead to questionable choices while Researching things like Medicine
Databases with large population sets, medical data easily accessible, location and GPS data all important topics that are likely to ideal and less than ideal (be problematic in some way) to a certain extent – not really what people always think about getting a driver license, buying a phone, or going to the doctor, might not always be factored in ideally when trying to make the next new product or wonder drug.
Reminder not affiliated with people on videos, trying to add value. This is the bit more adult one.
More adult might be called into a question when discussing ethics of lying
We sometimes turn down truth without considering implications
Thoughts of a Defying Gravity (TV Series) episode where the people trying out for a space program are required to administer shocks to each other. Able to find it other day on YouTube
Around 11:00 time code on the show – I don’t own the rights to the show, available so providing, would provide just the clip
Thoughts of hazing around college fraternities, sororities, organizations, and military (movie Jarhead comes to mind) – if it A required for strength, perceived as manly not always value added
