My guess is Matthew 5:10-12 likely will apply to all people in some regards, mercy for the merciful, worth investing in extra grace for the unknowns. Just because you can’t see the persecution doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, worthy of turning down valuing of persecution that can’t be seen? hit like a pinata from unknown directions to way to A value out for heaven seems less than ideal – not really Golden Rule in.
