There is homosexuality in our country. Not everyone is Christian, not every Christian agrees upon how wrong it is. In by design equates to has to be accounted for, mercy for Homosexuality as in by design is not always ideal mercy for others.
Medical and Art, there is some of that there as far as I can tell. Add in drugs including halucinagens that might be taken by choice or not by choice, some medications have side effects, not all people get choices on what drugs they take, not all drugs are all profit free – explotation might not always take normal routes.
Homosexuality might be tied to incest which is not all pretty, and movies and hollywood has tendency to use interesting. I like interesting and I don’t want to reinforce either homsexuality or incest in society – at the same time I don’t want victims of our system to be thrown on the street or devalued because of collective sins we all invest in.
Lingerie shops and Strip clubs that profit society are in by design. Limiting freedom is problematic, especially in a society you expect to be free. Freedom should lead to freedom and not explotation is a difficult topic to fully deal with.
The prison and jail system does not show all real imagery to the public. Partially bad is not showing naked bodies on cold solitary cells being fed drugs they don’t really have ideal choice to refuse and hot dogs.
Who is in power, the ideals they attest to, whether homosexuality is consider a problem or not a problem factors into how our system is run, who may be exploited, who is seen as useful. I do not think right or left has effectively solved the problem, thus a problem that is in by design seems to be in USA to stay. Saying any tax dollars, driving on the streets doesn’t contribute to the collective sins seems unwise.
What is sin is not agreed upon creates problems. Homosexuality no big deal might lead to fornication as no big deal, babies that aren’t fully cared for and protected. One sin no big deal might lead to less truth other sins seen as no big deal.
All that said the idea Christ is in by design and that frees us from the law, then people get reattached to the law and people decide which sins to forgive and not forgive, sin leads to death, but we are free from the law and sin is a bit mind boggling. Put in combination with James 4:17 knowing and not doing is sin and be perfect makes things feel difficult when it seems no matter what you do, you are partially turning up collective sins.
Can’t A the min could lead to feeling of no big deal to sin against them, not ideally perfect so thrown under the bus is no big deal which is not good.
Requirement to protect the problem might accelerate the problem. The topic feels a bit like quicksand. Our system gives out Bibles while not addressing the problem gives feeling of a bit doublesided. The system moves forward regardless of sins is common, facilitates Global Warming, and a system that might not protect sons and daughters ideally.
Without sin cast the first stone is an important teaching of Christ, and since society invests in collective sins, even forgiven I don’t think it is fair for us to be throwing stones.
That said not seeing the problem usually does not factor into the problem being fixed. The problem might become more of a problem in hard economic times. Mercy claimed then left to die on the streets is not really mercy. Victims of a system we don’t ideal is not all pretty. Claim forgiveness and love, sufficient support not really doesn’t seem an ideal way to roll.
Thought about calling this document A you min owe it?, numbers to describe people not always pretty, people use scales 1-5, 1-10 if in by design, better add in support for mercy and grace for it
