Oppression is IBD. Oppression is in by design. It factors into greater throughput for others in society. It is hard to fully gauge, not always easy to fully see, does not equate to it is not there.

Imagine the nicest company on Earth that treats all its employees fairly builds a product. Yet that company imports a product from a country that has child labor, non-zero levels of oppression. Investment in that company’s product might seem oppression free yet might facilitate continued capacity for another society to function off of the fruits of oppression.
Throughput based upon Oppression can’t be set to null, might equate to people find it less valuable to try and fight Oppression, reduce its impact. That equates to more oppression IBD that does not stop throughput.
Society financially benefits some individuals while others get left behind bars – this does not always equate to the one behind bars is guilty of their crime. Innocents oppressed factor into non-null level of throughput gains. People in Jail, including innocent people in Jail equates to more stage time for others, more stage time for others is valuable, factors into financial gains and throughput.

Yet Society continues on a daily basis to invest, including investing in building and construction projects that require Oil and Gas to get off the ground. Society facilitates and reinforces oppression in ways that is hard to fully gauge yet does not mind profiting from that throughput while some remain in Jails. Oppressed people in Jail does not equate to I don’t want an ambulance to save me or others in a critical moment.
Reducing Oppression takes investment, requires raising awareness, and process is less than ideal. Less than ideal throughput in raising awareness about oppression factors into capacity to continue to profit on throughput based upon oppression.
Less Oppression today factors into Peace and Security for others in the future. The Bible says, “blessed are the Peacemakers”, blessed are the Oppression Reducers? Not one in the same?
Christ teaches “without sin cast the first stone”, those that see self without sin always factor in each dollar invested in Oil and Gas? Even if you don’t invest in Oil and Gas (decide not to pay taxes), to increase gains and throughput, not consider someone unable to go to the ambulance as oppression? Both likely have potential to lead to non-null levels of oppression, and non-null sins, sins like adultery

Oppression like Antisemitism, and Racism has been allowed to continue, and during that time tech gains, including tech gains made based upon wars factors into the future, future capacity like defense and other systems like art and aviation that rely upon tech. The World knows there is a problem, continues marching forward because it doesn’t know how to solve the problem ideally, does not equate to zero throughput gains based upon oppression past, present, and likely future.
Cameras in smartphones? You mean cameras like those used to film propaganda in wars past? Tech gets set to neutral.
Desire to divest does not equate to ideal divestment. Stacking burdens on others like the burden of knowing oppression is IBD and factors into most products we use, and system we rely upon on a daily basis is somewhat oppressive itself. I do not wish to stack burdens on others, and I also know that not acknowledging a problem, a problem like Oppression IBD factors into Throughput is unlikely to lead to it solved, or at least solved in closer to ideal ways.
Others make sacrifices, loses their lives defending the country. Their oppression factors into a future for others including self. Gains based upon oppression is hard to divest ideally from. If a war shows bombs being dropped on little girls – is society more enabled than in the years of Vietnam to divest from that war and make peace immediately? Capacity to divest less than ideal might lead to landmines laid, landmines laid is not zero oppression for the future.
If everyone in the World invested in less oppression for 1 hour a day – that would be 8.1 billion hours of investment in reducing oppression. Consider that the future is likely to lead to 16 billion people at some point, not think historic contributions will be consequential? Might seem daunting – drawing or painting a peace sign, showing love and grace, forgiveness to others factors into reducing oppression.

Easy to think ideal gains have been made, there is no way to shape the future in valuable ways. That might not lead to ideal appreciation for value in reducing oppression and reducing oppression early. Head starts matter.
Those oppressing each other today will likely factor into impressions in the World when there are 16 billion people.
