E-bike Maintenance, March 2nd, 2024

Filled up tired from around 35,40 psi to 65 psi in each. Tires range are from 35-70 psi.

Used both Ryobi and Hemiway electric pumps. I think it is recommended to have safety glasses because a pop is possible, thus I wore safety glasses I just purchased from Home Depot. Ryobi pump says it is not calibrated precisely, Hemiway didn’t say anything about that in the instruction booklet from what I see (though not sure I read all of it). Assumption I went off was Hemiway Air Pump was sufficiently calibrated for use.

Probably would like to get a precision air pressure pen for improved ability to verify. Having small pumps that are electric, handheld that can be put in bike pack are nice, also might be nice for inflatable mattresses for people camping.

Might have missed something, not an expert in e-bike maintenance, trying to share for others that might be interested.
