Hard times in the World, wars and people dying, there is desire to want to make the right choices, protect people ideally. I have a certain amount of training in writing and communications yet my field and major amount of training is in Computer Engineering.
In tough times, in oppression capacity to be useful, to utilize computing systems has the potential to be limited in real ways, significant ways. I am not sure if that makes training more or less valuable in times like these, under oppression like this.
If I thought more people would be alive, things would be better at the end of the day, just by being silent I would. That said, less investment and less support does not always lead to more people protected, and better outcomes. Further that is likely to amplify more ideally for some parties, and potentially not ideally for all parties. I want to make anyone’s life harder in times like these? No.
I have words, and I have readers potentially, potentially not – metrics being oppressed factors into delivery. Anyone reading thinking I am coming from a place of ideal visibility, either locally or on world news would likely not be able to fully see oppression that both matters and factors into my current world view.
Desire to make meaningful contributions to peace and defense of others, as well as create great art has brought me closer to lines, potentially over lines at times in ways that are not desirable. Wearing a blue shirt might make me look like a Police Officer, yet I am not. Does that equate to I should never where a blue shirt? Or does that equate to I realize it might mislabels others in society, and thus wearing a blue shirt at times factors into protection for others?
Someone in a green, blue, red, or orange shirt (as well as any other color) might factor into memories both good and bad. People that are good Samaritans while wearing a particular color, that are peaceful law abiding citizens while wearing a particular color are likely to reinforce the value in that color. Authority that does right by people, is authority that reinforces its value as remaining in authority.
Team Jerseys are real, amplify less than ideally, and Categorize and Classify is less than an ideal system, based on representations that get less than ideally turned up. Children, Adults, and Elderly all buy clothes based upon limited funding that might factor into their representation in less than ideal ways. Power suits and Police Uniforms, all value for representation or less than all value for ideal representation? Claimed as doesn’t matter doesn’t feel like true value added, does not feel like delivers ideally.
People use similar colors to make choices constantly. A drink with a different color label, still drunk, still classified the same? Familiar Logos, Symbols, and Flags factor into thoughts, how to view and consider others – I wish it amplified more ideally than it does by default. Someone trying to remind the World love your neighbor could wear Green and Orange (Mexican Flag Colors), Christian messages for Love and Peace not needed in a state with a border crisis?
