My personal Cybersecurity in the USA has seemed less than ideal. US Citizens need a clear path forward whether or not to buy Chinese products going forward. Many supply lines and products depend on China and having Clarity around the matter iffed is less than ideal value established. If the USA Government saw someone they might not like they could easily be set to potential Chinese threat, so easy to set is consequential.
International Trade matters, I would prefer to not be at odds with international superpowers, yet others know the threat, likely have greater visibility of the threat than I have.
The Government owes a way forward to the USA Citizens in a way that does not allow them to be demonized or imprisoned based on iffed supply lines and less than clear message from the Government. Everyone with an iPhone or iPad to a Chinese Spy? I would prefer that potential to be less. The clarity is convoluted, convoluted in way that gives feeling of volatile, proximity to martial law.
Based on hearing about the Threat I have felt iffy working with Google Translate – appearances to more valuable has potential to reduce capacity to make Peace and greater enable International Trade. I want to show allegiance and patriotism, translating, using Google translate as a way to extend a hand to international partners feels like it will be perceived and comprehended as reducing faith.
Clarity should be closer to ideal, Ground should not be iffed – factors into ability to do International Trade, make gains, make gains that have potential to lead to a better Economic Future and Peace.
Clarity factors into national security. What happens if 6 months from now all investments in Chinese products are seen as have to be removed from inventory, from shelves? How would that factor into both producers and consumers? If there was a war, if there are national disasters, will we have ability to trust Chinese products and other products that are already in, purchased, and needed to be used? Head starts matter. Knowing there are no extra microphones or cameras, knowing our data will not be off-shored in inappropriate ways while companies discount liability is important.
Oriental Americans, many of which have no direct ties to China have high potential for mistaken for Chinese, correlated in minds. Peace made with China swiftly factors into a future with greater potential – I want Taiwan to remain Free and I want Peace made with China, not left in the air. I realize that position is a bit of a hard one to hold ideally, yet Government that installs, allows supply lines while convoluting usability, interoperability is requiring citizens to hold untenable, harder ideal lines to hold. Bandwagon appeal with demonization is something possible in societies, deterring in advance matters. Less witch hunts possible seems like something we should all be on board with.
Further Whistleblowing has shown precedent for not always appreciated or protected in The United States, nor has it been ideally turned up (NDAs and what is a threat is not always zero convolution). People that have to risk their career to speak against problems and injustice should be better protected in society, and are far from guaranteed to be. Factors into considering fields like Communications, Tech, Cybersecurity, and Engineering as fulfilling rewarding careers that will not leave them out in the cold. Pain point too high for speaking Truth not good, unlikely to amplify ideal Truth. If between loyalty to state and companies is less straightforward than people might think. Buy a Chinese laptop for your business? Less than straightforward less than ideal protection for USA Citizens including those in Government. Will be protected factors into capacity to speak Truth.

AI could let one Country capitalize on gains that vastly limit GDP for other countries. Like the Industrial Revolution on steroids, potentially in a way that widens divides between rich and poor, haves and haves not.
