January 26th, 2024 Thoughts Pt 3

I the writer of this vlog am not on this video, or at the United Nations. Here are some of my thoughts listening to news and the Holocaust Memorial Service at The United Nations on this day.

Israel’s population is only 10 million. If there were 6 million Jewish people saved instead of lost in the Holocaust, Israel’s population would likely be double. Losses from past factor into Support in the Future, thus less losses upfront means allot. If The World eliminated Antisemitism as a valid direction there would likely be much more oxygen for supporting other problems including Climate Change.

Holocaust Memorial at The United Nations with all of what is going on in The World, at the ICJ – I am a non-Jewish Christian, thus someone Jewish, someone from Israel likely has potential to speak to the complexity better than me. All on the same day.

Keeping History clarified is possibly easy to see as less of a fight than it is. Leaders and Countries have reason to desire to control perception and comprehension of History, potentially in non-ideal ways. Antisemitism has been an issue, an issue at least as far as I have potential to tell has been left in place in The Middle East. Iran and other countries that denounce Israel called to account each day until they stop setting Israel and Jewish people to a target? If the United Nations did that, words might ring less hollow.

Iranian missiles, The Iranian missile program allowed to continue has and is likely to lead to more Jewish deaths over time. Does the United Nations call out Iran every chance it gets? Try to steer Iran, which has 90 million people to better ends, to non-antisemitic ends? Stopping Wars, Stopping untold humanitarian crises could be more ideally invested in. The World allows Iran to continue not adequately opposed, how might the ICJ rule on those actions?
