Purchased a Vertical Ergonomic Mouse from Logitech from Amazon. I am trying to invest in more Ergonomics and Better Engineering Experiences for all. I got a mouse, that is vertical, but it is in a Logitech box and the mouse looks different and is branded with Anker (the same brand I used for portable battery power supplies). The mouse works, though it calls into question the security of the mouse (the mouse is wireless and connects into USB slot). Might not show as a problem until a key moment where my access is disabled. Potentially just a problem with someone putting another mouse and sending back a product and Amazon potentially not checking. That said I have had many problems in 2023 and 2024 with orders which might equate to Consumer Protections needs to up their game.
Cybersecurity with iffy branding? Combo is less than ideal for Logitech, Anker, and Amazon. Anker makes some great portable battery supplies, that said heavy bricks with power are not ideal thoughts of potential problems out, compounded with cybersecurity problems not ideal.
Batteries hacked into overheating possible? Would like to say we are protected as a society better than that, some of issues I have been facing have made me desire better output from Consumer Protection.
