I see cool fold-able e-scooters yet finding who sells them is difficult. I am a smaller man (5’7 around 160 lbs) – there is potential tech that could make my capacity to commute swifter – though higher potential for desiring to ride on sidewalks with more compact tech.
Some of this tech potentially very useful for Golf Courses and Valets. Constant use over long distances and on streets makes potential utility more difficult.
Potential for gains in Delivery tech likely could be enabling in many different ways. Delivery to more of an option might lead to less desire to buy cars, SUVs, and trucks for storage space. Small electric mobility like E-bikes and Scooters potentially safer in an environment where more people are using them (greater access to helmets less potential to be hit by cars), more people using Bikes and E-Bikes factors into greater potential to sway politicians to build more bike lanes.
That said employers that see E-bikes as an option, no longer need to have salaries that allow for cars and insurance might be a problem. Higher access to skilled labor at a lower price point not always a good thing.
It is freezing outside today 13 degrees Fahrenheit – ice slick roads combined with no heating/Air Conditioning equates to E-bike less useful on days like this. That said driving in a car on days like this might not always be safer – E-bike sometimes limits capacity, capacity limited is not always a bad thing.
Snowy days potentially better for improving communication skills, typing skills, and writing skills. Creates direction to where gains can be made, and increased motivation towards learning and constructive paths not always bad. Go for a walk in 13 degrees Fahrenheit freezing weather, or type more? Choice is pretty easy from where I am sitting.
It would be nice if all companies were required to State Wattage and Weight on Electronics. Product weight should be available on all packages and deliveries – Consumer Protection regulations might be able to require. Knowing how much wattage used factors into More Conscientious Energy Consumption – a society tuned to Recycling and Better More Efficient Energy Consumption could be very valuable. Weight and Size of products known factor into better capacity to comprehend how things will be delivered, potentially greater safety in moving products. Further with allot of new battery tech – weight factors into potential use (30 lb batteries are useful yet might not be ideally comprehended by purchasers).
I am pretty impressed with the Display on the new Anker Battery – better capacity to understand charging speed rocks like baking a cake, 1 hour until done charging information makes it easier to understand when a battery is ready for use. The USB-C cables (CableCreation on Amazon) I have just purchased that show wattage delivered is also awesome as it makes it easier to tell which chargers I have are delivering higher wattage faster rates.
The new Anker battery I purchased seems to be faster at charging itself and faster at charging (higher output charging) other devices. A nice combo that creates greater potential, charge the battery fast then charge other devices fast without need for plug then charge it again fast. It has lower total capacity than another Anker battery I have but likely has more potential to actually charge products over the period of a day.
