Reason and Logic that Sounds good that delivers less than ideally
Argument 1
People are less than perfect, they sin.
Sin is evil, worth preventing and stopping.
People that have the potential to hurt each other need to be protected from self and others.
To effectively prevent sin, the effects of sin all would need to be put in Jail
Jail is not sin free
A society where everyone is in Jail would be pain and misery, pain and misery that tempts sin, and woe be to the tempters
Take away – Society likes some level of freedom and protection, that is established less than ideally, and turns up risk mitigation less than ideally. Ambulances and Cars greater value than stopping all Cars to prevent accidents is less than all good and evil established by default. Notion that Society has potential to amp things in ideal ways is potentially dangerous. More ideal amps for a short time might lead to less ability to comprehend risks over a longer time.
Argument 2
Logic and Reason lead to Results.
Results Matter and factor into Throughput.
Throughput leads to a better society thus Throughput is delivered ideally. (not true, reaffirms have to rely upon so thus do rely upon)
Logic and Reason are built upon Truth.
Truth is is established less than ideally.
Logic and Reason that delivers Results and thus Throughput is based upon less-than-ideal truth, relevance limiting thus delivers less than ideally.
Throughput is valuable.
Throughput is not valuable to all parties equally.
It is clear, straightforward to see who gains and loses from increased throughput in Society? No.
Take away – Society cares about results. Results are delivered unequally. Good might be good enough if I am rich and carefree and not if I am stuck in jails stacked with burdens. People do not always invest in solving problems before there is a problem. Logic and Reason are useful; thus they always deliver Throughput sufficiently is something that might sound true that delivers less than sufficiently at times.
