Categorize and Classify, Venn Diagrams and the Imagination
If I think of a category like boxes. I might Imagine an area with a box on the left, and then boxes of different sizes and shapes on the right. They all fit the representation of a cardboard shipping box I have in my mind.
If I think of categories like evil, I might imagine a demon on the left, and then potentially evil things on the right like Weapons of Mass Destruction. Sizing things up next to each other factors into ability to comprehend, proximity factors into ability to comprehend. To try and reduce bias, I might Imagine a demon and then increase distance 100s of feet, to miles, huge distances to reduce proximity, to reinforce in my mind while it might be simple to group things close to one another, that does not always equate to sufficient representation.
Such as, cops have guns. Guns might be imagined close to Evil, Demons. Yet Cops, Authority should not be associated with Demons by default. Reducing Proximity in the mind matters, helps reinforce what something or someone is, and what they are not, what bias is, what bias exists and what bias is not. People might rather associate Cops with Angels, put them in close proximity. Angels try to protect and Cops try to protect, Angels have wings and Cops have guns. Ability to categorize and classify, representation has the potential for being amplified in more useful ways might not always equate to ideal representation. Cops set to Demons or Angels seems unwise, biased representation. Cops set to never exhibit qualities like Demons or Angels seems unwise as well, biased representation.
Grouping matters, factors into Logic, Reason, Bias, and Less Bias. Venn Diagrams, that are taught in Math classes have potential to reinforce proximity as ideally establishing similar properties. Group as such, gets set as such, does not always equate to verified as such, does not equate to verification always turned up adequately. Working against biases, such as using Don’t Judge taught in The Bible is important yet might not always lead to re-examination of biased evidence – not for me to judge might be looked at as it is undesirable for one to increase comprehension of details.
Don’t Judge has potential to lead to Pending, not sure whether I should think about something or not that does not always deliver ideally. Cops to maybe a demon maybe an angel, not for me to decide (don’t judge) left to pending? Left to pending might less than sufficiently establish that they are trying to help and protect society. Just because I might disagree with a cop does not equate to the cop is evil, or is not trying to protect and help society, better for me to pend maybe on good maybe on evil? Better for me to think the best of others and realize that disagreement is sometimes a valuable system for good.
If I teach others Math, I am taking it on Faith they won’t turn into Tyrants. Better to pend might lead to better might lead to worse? Video lessons, lessons that might not be meant as video lessons turned into video lessons – Teachers have full comprehension of potential liabilities seems unwise. Teachers aren’t guaranteed to know their students, who will be their students in this day an age, thus it would be unwise to claim they know ideally how their lessons are adding or subtracting value. Words in books teach, yet the writers are unlikely to have conversations with all those that read and learn from their works.
Writers are taking it on Faith that words delivered will not lead to others becoming Tyrants. Teachers alone set as sufficient protection for society seems unwise, Teachers set to will always know full impact of their lessons for good and potential problems seems unwise as well. Teachers teach based upon truth that has been delivered with limited relevance via World Governments – details that not everyone knows factors into lessons as more and less useful.
All that said, words in books and songs have potential for combined with drugs in ways we can’t imagine, or even if we could imagine does not equate to it is less wise to state the words (less words not always better). I don’t want to inspire Riots or People Mistreated, Compound Injustices does not equate to that is how my words will be used or amplified. Further I am less than perfection, typos taken wrongly could be damaging. Just because I am typo free does not equate to my delivery is always ideal. Less than ideal delivery is In By Design, taking things on Faith is In By Design. As if I am Blackmailed by some future I cannot fully predict. Potentially compound by a tech system and networks that are not required to deliver my words as is, unchanged, security problems free.
Not grouping things together in close proximity, not even entertaining similar qualities might be more useful at times than the alternative. I negate the association is valuable and not always ideally turned up. Pink and Orange are colors, the same thing. Potentially less than all value added.
