Clean water is nice. Access to water and water pressure gives access to showers, ability to water lawns, ability to fill pools, and access to clean drinking water. Clean water also enables your enemies to drink and be supported, also allows for the potential of water torture. The bad parts of the system are upsold to never happen, that is not true.
Society does not like the idea of having to pay for the price of innovation. Movies give us something interesting to watch. Movies also have the potential to turn up people perceived as a Villain easily. Cameras, Video, and Music are all technologies, innovation in these fields add value, are far from guaranteed to always add value, far from guaranteed to always add value for those we care about and for those we might claim to care about but fail in society.
Generally, it is thought that the problems in Innovation are low risk, likely to be avoided. Over a lifetime people have the potential to see the problems, be a victim of the problems in innovation. Measures are many times taken to reduce problems, yet they amplify far less than ideally. Water given, then Police forces installed to offset the risk of torture is better than nothing, upsold to amplifies ideally is dangerous.
Computers have the potential to increase CAD and 3D systems in ways that can make better cheaper 3D printable water pumps that could help save people in nations where people don’t have access to clean water. Computers improved should deliver that way does not equal they always do. Logic and Reason Systems, Technologies that should benefit the World do not always benefit all parties. The World claims computers and systems will help cure things like cancer yet oppression and limited access to food and clean drinking water still amplifies as common.
Innovation and Technology has the power to be value added. Innovation and Technology is claimed to be low side effects for the World. Side Effects are greater than companies that are trying to Max Profit claim by default. Value Added has potential for upsold to greater than value actually delivered. Like the concepts of Bandwidth and Throughput. Max possible Bandwidth is possible, but actually delivery is a different number. Throughput, Actual Throughput of reduced problems and increased efficiency, value matters.
The speed of support, speed of reduced Oppression in my life makes me think people enabled with technologies and computers are sufficient value added for the future, for people I care about, the people I don’t know about that I should care about, for loving your enemy? No. A World as enabled with as much Technology as the current World in 2023 should deliver far less oppression, far faster results by default. It does not. Humanity has proven trustworthiness with access to innovation from what I have seen in my life? No.
Dijkstra’s algorithm teaches how to find the shortest path. There are very short paths to reduced oppression, yet they are not taken. Exascale computing that can’t solve Dijkstra’s to enable reduced oppression should be trusted as sufficient output, quality output that should be truly valued? No. There is a bug in the system. Big bug, not a small one.
