How intelligence is valued factors into who makes decisions and who does not make decisions in society.
Intelligence does not guarantee Ethical. Both are concerned with quality of choices. An intelligent choice might lead to result does not guarantee it was an ethical choice. An ethical choice might not always lead to results, and those results might be foreseeable by the intelligent.
How things play out factors into more than just immediate results. Choices and decisions factor into precedent and lessons those watching and basing their decisions on make in the future. An intelligent choice might lead to high value immediate results, with detrimental results if factored into common precedent, long term usefulness.
Intelligence always has ideal comprehension of the environment it is in? Intelligence always has ideal comprehension of short term, mid term, and long term effects of choices?

Clear, Clarity in Perception and Comprehension
Intelligent beings have the potential for health problems that are unforseeable. Have the potential for making their perception comprehension and thus decisions made to all be subject to filtered by lens that are not always sufficient. Clear perception, Clarity in Perception and Comprehension has potential for being a limited time system that is not always talked about. Trustworthy today does not equal trustworthy tomorrow. Ideal intelligence would factor in changes ideally, yet all changes that are useful to comprehension are not always perceived or known.
Those making decisions in society, even if made with good data, does not guarantee ideal bars set on training requirements. Better Leaders does not guarantee sufficient Leaders for the time. Better is up to debate, available, does the job gets upsold to ideal person to do the job. Intelligent people would realize that Leaders are trained less than ideally, in a less than ideal environment, with potential for less than ideal health that decreases access to real perception and comprehension. What is known of Leaders is a view, a limited view. The Leaders might be less enabled if the public had a full view. The Leaders more enabled is not guaranteed to be sufficient value added.
A leader might not be all High Voltage signs out, does not guarantee they will be sufficient High Voltage signs in. Inheriting a failing infrastructure, a World full of human driven climate change seen as ideal conditions for new leaders, for great decision making seems unwise. Knowing that leaders delivery are expected to be far less than ideal should factor into decision making and risk mitigation.
Intelligence level has potential for going in many different trajectories in more than 4 dimensions. Someone viewed as generally intelligence this year might be considered not intelligent 100 years from now, 500 years from now. The future will bring different conditions, different tests, different technology available that has the potential to both increase and decrease intelligence. Older mathematicians that didn’t have ready access to a calculator immediately set to less intelligent than mathematicians of today seems unwise. The future brings progress, progress has potential for amping reliance that amps intelligence less than ideally.
Able to do basic numbers faster in the mind have potential for valued less. Someone enabled with new equations of today and a calculator to do basic math might have a much greater output than someone of the past that could only do basic math really fast. Output and Progress, Results seen as ideal valuation of intelligence seems unwise. Yet humanity likes to measure, value things, as setting goals and ideal levels can help set trajectories for better. Humanity seen as has ideal trajectories for better based on such limited knowledge seems unwise (humanity is not all intelligence out, but imagine 10,000 years from now, that version of humanity is likely to be far different, far different trajectories based upon better).
Decision making factors into intelligence. A Fire Fighter and a Doctor both have the potential to save lives. Saving life seen as a trajectory for better, as a sign of intelligence seems wise. A Fire Fighter that knows the potential for danger and goes into difficult environments anyways might be seen as less intelligent than a Doctor, someone that has studied for years of their life. If I was in the middle of a fire I would likely rather be saved by the intelligence of a Fire Fighter, than pronounced dead later at the seen by a qualified Doctor. If I have burns from the fire, while greatful to the Fire Fighter for saving my life, I would prefer to be healed by the intelligence of the qualified Doctor. Both intelligences are valuable, and both intelligence levels are trained via known knowledge and experience and both move in different trajectories, dimensions.
Humanity does not know all knowledge required to value intelligence, thus valuation of intelligence is less than ideal. Intelligence and Ethics training is less than ideal, does not have comprehension of all possibilities and potential problems by default. Intelligence and Ethics is likely to deliver less than ideally at times does not equal it is unwise to invest. Better not perfect can be a 99% full water bottle vs no water bottle in a drought.
Preparation is powerful, seen as amps ideally has potential to reduce the power in preparation. Robustness, Accessibility, Reliability, and potential new variables that need to be factored in all matter. People simplify for the sake of throughput. Building a wall, putting on a roof creates shelter. Shelter is useful does not equal the wall, the roof is designed with all ideal environmental constraints. Solar panels on the roof and insulation might lead to energy savings. Better does not guarantee ideal, best choices. Sounds good, better choices moves forward, factoring in more variables is useful does not guarantee all variables that matter are factored in.
Someone that tries to factor in all variables before a Storm might end up with no shelter. Trying to factor in all relevant variables seen as intelligent? Factoring in more variables might be more ethical, factoring in more variables might not always equal more intelligent. Factoring in more variables is not a guarantee of ethical, is not a guarantee of factoring in variables that are important to the ethicalness of a decision made.
Some thoughts listening to
Intelligence, having to factor in more variables is not always more Encouraging. Encouragement factors into increased Throughput, increased Throughput of systems like Intelligence and Ethics.
Technology like Supercomputers bring thoughts and inspiration of game changing results. Yet year after year, gains are made to computing while oppression remains a problem and increases at times. Would it be intelligent to say humanity makes sufficient usefulness of improvements in technology? Would it be ethical to say humanity makes sufficient usefulness of improvements in technology?
Faster ability to do math problems is thought of as intelligent, thought of as a solution that will deliver better results for humanity, yet has shown a precedent for not always delivering sufficient results. Faster cancer research or faster ICBMs, ability to utilize high power technology matters, and people are less than sufficient max profit out at times. Greed and Power do not deliver ideal results, yet intelligence has the potential to empower both non ideally.
Intelligence that is less than ideally Ethical does not guarantee results, does not guarantee sufficient Encouragement.
Gem of the Day – Capacity equals ideal use? No.
Negate capacity for justice equals ideal delivery of justice.
Purchase of weapons and arms, like the arms that are used by police officers demand that all oppression, all corruption be removed from the system before a sale goes through? Less than ideal amps less than ideally. Less than ideal systems sell weapons less than ideal systems purchase weapons. Protection Throughput not Ideal Evil Reduction factors into supply and demand. How humans prioritize throughput over ethical decision-making matters, has shown a precedent for not ideally turned up over history.
People purchasing firearms are turning up short term protection, while inspiring more momentum in the systems that build firearms. Firearms that might be misused by future corrupt systems and governments. Every tax dollar as a certain amount of investment in guns, tanks, jets, bombs, and nuclear weapons? Where money is spent matters, corruption levels are greater than zero, protection needs are less than zero. To say it is all good seems unwise.
One penny from a tax dollar combined with a penny from 300,000 million other citizens factors into an advancement that allows machine guns to shoot twice as fast. Those machine guns are ideal deaths out? No. Those machine guns are ideal protection out? No. The future now empowered with double speed machine guns is guaranteed, likely to utilize the technology with all corruption and evil reduced? No. People always counterbalance investments in weapon technologies with increased investments in ethics? No. Teachers of Ethics are never oppressed? False. Less than ideal momentum and less than ideal training further reduced by oppression expected to amp ideally? Seems unwise.
The present leverages the future for short term protection. It is understandable does not equate to it is all good. Nuclear Weapons seen as a liability or as a benefit to future generations? A Nation leveraged by National Debt, failing infrastructure, potential for a liability, present borrows against the future seems to be truth. The next year will pump CO2 and Methane into the air, the present borrows against the future seems to be truth.
Too hard, too costly to stop all cars? Humanity has the potential to make the future better but makes choices that are less than ideally ethical to enable present throughput. Real Change is hard but not impossible, has potential for real problems equals it is divested from. Claim a Justice system that enables throughput like that as an ideal distributor of Justice? Say it is important to protect the future and then do another equates to ideal trust amplified? Can’t be trusted with a little thing like the environment, trust with ideal delivery of Justice? That same system tries to amplify what people should view as right and wrong, potential for amping guilt on a few while taking on insufficient burden itself.
Collective sin, hard to truly value the value of a penny in mass.
Less nuclear weapons in the World does not equal less powerful tech. Less lethal via less but more lethal via new tech seems less than ideal for the future.
