mesencephalon forms is called Midbrain in adult structures

Midbrain contains the Periaqueductal Gray around the Cerebral Aqueduct (CSF – Cerebral Spinal Fluid Ventricle from my understanding)

I find the spinal cord from posterior to anterior, bottom to top, plus the Medulla Oblongata, Pons, Cerebellum, and Midbrain along the neuroaxis to be useful for understanding the 3D structure.

forebrain – diencephalon and telencephalon

After that the diencephalon (which forms into thalamus, hypothalamus, and epithalamus as well as eye cup retina optic nerve and optic tract) and then further to the telencephalon that forms into the cerebrum (large portion of gray matter that is split into two hemispheres normally associated with top and outside view of the brain including the temporal lobe).

I have worked significantly with Blender 3D Open Source software, more medical modelling has potential to both increase comprehension of use of computer based tools like CAD and comprehension of medical systems.
