Maybe by 2100 Humanity will terminate Oppression as a useful system, factors into gains on par with the discovery of fire by 2200 or no gains on par with the discovery of fire.
Oppression was still seen as a Useful System after the Pyramids, after Christ was Crucified, after Medieval torture, after persecution of Religious Authorities like the Catholic Church and Salem Witch Trials, after Gas Chambers and Genocide between 1900 and 2000. Oppression to a less useful system has had a less than ideal track record for amplifying sufficiently over time.
If 2523 still has Oppression likely worth noting someone in 2023 at least acknowledged the problem needed to be addressed years in advance. Whether or not humanity actually addresses the need for Greater Humanization and Reduced Dehumanization, Oppression requires momentum, real change, and possibly Epiphanies that for some reason have had less than sufficient throughput over the past centuries.
Real Change is hard, sometimes generates friction, sometimes requires a lot of hard work. People including in 2023 are notorious for capitalizing on shortest path algorithms to increased efficiency and throughput many times in ways that have the potential to re-enable oppressive systems again and again. Shortest Path and Proximity can be an enabler, is far from guaranteed to be an enabler.
People Inspired to Inspire Less Oppression in Game Changing way that actually allows true gains through history might be possible, requires creative minds to possibly do something different than they have over past generations. Positive Challenges are important and are not always appreciated for the Value Creation Potential they have both direct, and indirect.
Engineers say they want faster processing, Doctors say they want break throughs in Cancer research. Yet Oppression and Corruption limits access to better played and replayed throughout history. Oppression and Corruption amplify silence, less sharing of information, more protectionism, more guns and less trust. To say they don’t dramatically reduce potential chip yields would be unwise.
