Complexity has the potential to grow exponentially

Product A is refined by Party B
Party B then has leverage over Product A
Product A is then no longer as useful to Parties C and Parties D
Party C likely to roll their own version of Product A
Party D likely to roll their own version of Product A
Reliance has been shown time and time again to be less than ideal
External Dependencies lead to critical failures and critical failures lead to shutdown business where some maximize, get to maximize profit over others.
The systems claims it is best practice to do this or that, while failing to acknowledge that best practices are leading to critical support failures, people not adequately protected.
It is the optimal solution rings less true.
Imagine ProductA is a system airlines rely upon
The ideal choice would be less leverage
Less planes falling out of the Sky Good.
More people with enough funds to buy Plane Tickets? Also Good.
Support gets limited by leverage, and leverage grows complexity non ideally while simultaneously fostering less trust in complex dependencies.
