Concrete example 1. “The World is a Stage” – Shakespeare
A=A Planet is a Planet
B=A Stage is a place where people Perform
is is like equals
The metaphor is setting equivalence between A in B as a way to paint a more profound meaning like an artist. As if the painting was abstract in a way where it is likely to categorize and classify the image as a planet and a stage.
Contradictory A and B can be used as Juxtaposition.
Concrete example 2. A tragedy is sugar
A=tragedy
B=sugar
Tragedy likened to Sour might be perceived less profound. Tragedies are reading comprehension amps, a place to spend our time, characters to be vehicles of our emotional investment. The bitter sweet oxymoron like nature seems to ring more true. Characters of tragedy take us from point C to point D while raising our awareness of an important theme.

A Tragic character flaw is a tool writers use to convey bad choices and Blackboards and Chalk are tools teachers use to Raise Comprehension. The metaphor gives imagery that Tragic character flaws are a tool writers can use for Teaching Valuable lessons to the audience, for Raising Comprehension on why certain choices are unwise. The metaphor gives a visual cue for imagination that highlights and amplifies the abstract concept that tragic character flaws are useful tools for writers to Amplify Comprehension.
