Writing Throughput

Writing is important. Writing can be limited in not fully appreciated ways. Improving Word Throughput, Valuable Word Throughput is possible.

What limits writer Throughput

1. Limited Inspiration – hard to be passionate about something not inspired to write, inspiration is unlikely to always be ideal, there are great days and less great days
2. No Direction – Outlines help
3. Experience – Great Tools, a working keyboard (broken keyboard makes writing awful), tech problems )(like being hacked makes writing awful)
4. Desire for Perfectionism – Language is not Perfect yet we upsell self to be able to have the Perfect Words
5. Access to tools – Life can leave stuck in corrupt jails, can interrupt non stop in a way that makes using a keyboard, computer, or typewriter almost impossible. Paper and pencil is useful, yet limited from using Great Tools can be discouraging. Pencil and Paper can Amp an Artists skills yet having an amazing Tablet to paint on can be encouraging for practice experience. Experience factors into Investment.
6. Less Practiced, Skills rusty, Activation Energy – Practice factors into ease of Practice. Someone that has worked out for the past week or someone that hasn’t worked out in a year, which one is more likely to work out, which one will have an easier time working out, which one will have been reminded about potential problems and solutions in working out more recently?
7. Thinking through things – Writing can be part of the Journey thinking through things, desire to think through things and plan things out in advance can lead to less desire to immediately start writing. More activation energy is not always value added.
8. Oppression – feeling like you have to limit words, have to dance around uncomfortable truths rather than deliver the unfiltered version that has greater potential to change hearts can be defeating. Amplifying a Society that is More Appreciative of Creative Types and Creative Inspiration is far from a given, easy to stifle a quieter voice, a quieter voice that might have the perfect words to save lives, to make your life, to make my life better.

Stuck for 1 hour waiting on the perfect word or 1 hour of writing less than perfect words, what is better practice? What is more likely to lead to closer to perfect words in the future?
10. Desire to deliver Unique and Special – Combinations can lead to similar messages, speeches, stories, chapters, and novels. A writer might not feel like they can deliver something truly unique special and different in World with 8 billion people. A Dragon story, A Vampire story can be amazing, thinking they will be the only ones in the works in a World of 8 billion people seems unlikely. Tried and true can be a lot of value added with a writers own spin, trying to create a new and different monster like a Vampire Dragon or other combinations have the potential to both capitalize on useful qualities and amplify new and different. Common might be less appreciated, too different might have a more difficult time with buy in. The same story I just read, same topic can lead to further investment or divests.
11. Editing – editing takes time, re-reading takes time, re-reading might inspire thought that might not always amplify faster writing throughput

Able to gauge progress is power, able to see the difference in someone that practices a musical instrument 1 hour vs 100 hours is valuable. The journey factors into extra time for critical thought, improvement in skills, and also keeps the brain active with memory practice that has potential for being vital to long term success.

Inspiring Writing Throughput and Creativity Appreciated in others – face it, we are not immortal, and our Throughput of words is limited to how fast we can type and think, amplifying more than that requires investment in others. Tums aren’t quite insulin, but going from having heart burn that is disabling to feeling zero pain is huge. Calcium Carbonate is a powerful substance. Can words inspire less pain? Can problem solving and creative problem solving inspire less pain?

Someone might say “my stomach is hurting due to acid reflux.”

Then a response might be silence or a response might be you should take some tums or calcium carbonate, or we ran out of calcium carbonate last week and haven’t been to the store but we have these crushed egg shells (already crushed and dried).

Inspiring too much calcium intake might lead to hypercalcemia, so even well meaning people might suggest options that have the potential for less than ideal.

Words have the potential to inspire less pain, creative problem solving has the potential to take two similar useful systems and turn them into less pain. Calcium Carbonate alone won’t prepare and deliver less pain, words that say you should take this or that when this or that isn’t available alone won’t deliver less pain. Easy to forget, Genocide is an Atrocity that has been turned up more than once on this planet. We like to trust God with the Future, that everything will be good going forward, yet the people during the Great Depression likely thought similar. Despite the hardships of the day there is hope, there is light, and there is encouragement.

People that were likely doing their best in spite of hard times were unable to prevent Gas Chambers, Trains of Oppression, Internment camps, and Genocide. Life doesn’t give hard hands, then harder hands has not always been how God has dealt post Resurrection of Christ.

Only believing the best in the Future has potential for less than ideal Gas Chambers and Genocide out. Standing up against oppression is not always easy, might cost a job, might never be appreciated by others in society. Doing the right thing has potential for forgotten, for painted in other lights others see fit for the problems of the day.

People on football teams who are taught to win and maximize profit at all cost always see the Humanity in the other team, see the other team as men or women made in the Image of God?

Human life is less valuable, torture is not an abomination preceded Christ being raised on the Cross and executed. People dress up like Monsters and Animals sometimes for Halloween and Theatre, society not letting dehumanization become common place has had less than sufficient output over time.

It is nice to feel a part of something, bandwagon appeal that factors into support available versus not available is real and many times amps far less than sufficiently for all, far less than sufficiently over time. Peace and Peacebuilding that manifests value for a few, that allows a few to max profit at the cost of many in society is insufficient, inadequate for the future.

System leads to peace while allowing a few to be left miserable seems unwise to allow as common practice, unwise to set as precedent.

Do those Leaders hold onto those words, use those words in a way that will generate value creation for all, or just some? Literary Devices are gems that reflect in different ways that take relevant details and magnify them in new lights. From metaphors to juxtaposition Literary Devices are Powerful Tools for a writer’s arsenal, able to use them effectively requires knowing in what situations they have the potential to be useful, how they factor into interesting, different, and unique that leads to Key Details remembered versus forgotten.

Metaphors

Metaphors help the reader or listener feel, create new connections that can amplify imagination and details in perceivable, comprehensible lights. Having the audience feel raises relevance of details, helps the reader to relate on a topic that might be harder with a less effective tool. Metaphors create connections. Connections, like ones on diagrams or graphs are relevant, memorable, useful for grouping, create groupings that might not exist without metaphors. Diction and Subtext

Characters that are relatable are interesting. Characters sometimes speak in the kings court in exceptionally proper ways, but negate they always speak in the kings court. Relatable speech and dialogue factors into believable, believable leads to more ability to be immersed in the story. Story has the potential to be obtrusive, weird shaped parts that don’t or rarely fit together, and are not always believable when the writer tries to fit them together, or they can be like a master orchestra that chimes in at the perfect times, ramp ups of dissonance and resonance all masterfully orchestrated with proper timing.

Simple, Charming, and Relatable Characters that the audience are inspired to care about inspire investment from the reader, investment that can factor into a book read or put down a couple pages in. Simple and Charming characters we care about can factor into feeling of interesting and Epic. Epic in a way that allows complex and intricate plots and worlds to be woven that might be less inspiring with no relatable characters invested in them.

A planet from a far off galaxy sounds cool, 100 pages of just describing the planet might deliver less than desirable results. Venturing through the planet with relatable characters that might say something we might when confronted with colossal buildings, or storms that turn the day to midnight has the potential for higher value added.

Imagery and Descriptive Writing

Just a palace or a magnificent palace with emerald windows and giant towers that’s torch light filled the city with a warming glow that made the citizens feel protected, hopeful, and encouraged with each new day’s light?

Vivid Verbs can be more dramatic than adverbs. The man spoke. The man spoke loudly “Never Say Die!” or, the man shouted “Never Say Die!”. Spoke loudly seems more wobbly unfitting and precarious than shouted. Vivid verbs have potential to be more concise and pack a higher power punch for writers than adverbs that generate feelings of matched incorrectly for the task at hand.

Precise Adjectives raise special details, details that might otherwise not be heard or thought of by the reader. The blue velvet drapes gives color and texture where as if the writer just wrote, they closed the drapes the reader might think of pink drapes or orange drapes. Notable juxtaposition with potentially more strange (who has orange drapes) has potential to be more memorable, unique. Mankind had slavery in the past. I would like to think mankind is past that yet today we still have issues with oppression and have to watch out for child labor, oppressive illegal immigration that might be capitalized on by less ethical companies. If I was a white man from England in the early 1800s would I have the ability to speak out about oppression and slavery in the USA? Questionable to think just because things weren’t always spoken or written does not equal they were likely never thought.
