I wake up today, like any other day – mistakes and victories of the past factor into an uncertain future that I want to make better for both self and others. The world was imperfect before this day, will likely be imperfect after this day. Yet words have power, power to possibly make the future better.
Silence and letting other people speak have stage time is also valuable, likely undervalued for the power. My guess is if I know the perfect times to be silent, I would be – a win for self and a win for others.
That said nothing to read is nothing to read. Practice reading has value. Practice writing has value – I might make a mistake in this document I fix, that helps facilitate better writing and reading experiences for others in the future. The future is unlikely to be perfect, but the future has possibility.
There are other directions for a document like this. Specifics matter and there is comfort in generality. Making a better world – a title and statement that says the world is not perfect yet, there is still work to do, there are specific details if addressed could lead to better for all.
Yet those specific details are difficult to define. It would be ideal for God to give me the ideal, most pertinent problems to be fixed for the day. Then those problems being fixed would ideally lead to time to fix my smaller seemingly insignificant problems. Sadly there is profit in the unknown for God, in God not telling me what is the squeaky wheel, what actually needs to be fixed.
Profit in not knowing the problem – set to B or C when actually A? All set to God’s plan, God’s plan set to useful by a set of imperfect humans.
The problem is wars, if there was less wars and more peace all of our problems would be solved? Unlikely, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t make peace, both with each other and with ourselves.
The problem is alcohol, if there was a world of prohibition people wouldn’t make drunken mistakes. Less drunken mistakes would be valuable – not to be confused with greed and pride would suddenly go away.
The problem is people don’t pray enough. Imagine the worst day of your life was replaced with a day in Church praying. People can’t time travel, though likely I as many might suggest it in advance if it meant saving you from a hard life. Church is boring at times, we don’t always choose to invest at the right times, in the right ways.
The problem is God is lonely. Makes planets, can the guy really get lonely, feel disenfranchised? Sufficient prayer got us into this mess, insufficient prayer will get us out?
Maybe there is no mess, ignorance is bliss. There are allot of blessings, the future is full of potential. Examining things too closely always leads to ideal better? There are wars in the world, eventually they will lead to peace, is there really still work to do? Will interjecting my opinion on making a better world really add value or subtract value?
Will less investment in making a better world make me a better person? There are other uses for my time, not all productive – having a compass, a goal has value. The path might save is hard to fully appreciate. It is hard to fully appreciate less problems is freeing and enabling.
There a words. There are more ideal words. If I could wear a hat of perfection, partake in formalities for a day to make the World a better place for others? Likely. Not sure I would always know when to do that. Not sure I fully value the value added and potentially the value subtracted by not living to that formal standard on other days. A better World might rely upon a shortcut, might be achievable by a faster path, yet that path might have side effects.
Words have the potential to alter reality. Altering reality without ideal investment might not always be wise. Better words might lead to reliance, yet reliance leaves people vulnerable. Though with that logic, all words alter reality, divestment becomes too easy – no words becomes ideal liability protection.
If you make a new friend today you are investing in better communication channels. There are pros and cons – reliance and vulnerability are liabilities, though less words and less support is also not always easy on the soul. Inspiring a World that bridges divides is both possible and worth investing in.
Collaboration might lead to more minds on the subject. More people thinking through these problems might be exactly what the World needs. Practice collaborating gets diminished in life at times. Imagine you have a band and the songs are good but you want to take a different path, see value in striving out on your own. The World sees you the same way when you participate in the status quo, thus it makes one question if they should participate in the status quo at all. The combination might mean less collaboration or different collaboration yet that sometimes comes at the cost of practice in collaboration.
Thus these words are an investment, if not an ideal investment, that is not because they weren’t meant to be. Not to be confused with ideal time investing in reading and re-reading, taking in all current world events, weighing all things going on with ideal investment in time and energy from ideal support. To the public faster in a fast moving World that relies partially on supercomputers factors into decision making.
