Will people steal from the homeless? Yes.Is leaving people out on the street in the Texas heat all humanization? No
It beats stuck in an unjust jail where shivs are optional? Yes
Work hard try to do right try to make Peace will lead to off the street? No
Not really the blessings I was looking for from a God that claims to give a damn? YesIt is all desire to drink out? No
Hot, less access to showers and clean, less trust friends and society will be there for you in tough time – combination likely to get people sober or to drink more? Combo known might lead to more sober, realization that inebriated might give evil more capacity to follow through with setting you to less.
While at the same time that same God that claims to care about you offloads Good Samaritan and Golden Rule on to the backs of the homeless (homeless left to help each other) while keeping the miracles on reserve for those He truly cares about?
Imagine if everyone in Dallas decided not to buy drugs tonight, not to drink excessively. Might change something for the positive.
