Wreck confidence – leaders have to show who is the alpha in the room, leaders correct which has the potential to remind someone they are wrong, leaders don’t always validate or mention which might lead to further feelings of reduced confidence and insecurity – less than ideal feeling of appreciated less than ideal feeling of know right and wrong
Install trust – leaders pay employees, things might go well at a company does not mean you know what a leader does or why they do it which requires faith – and faith in someone belief in something requires trust
Inspire self fulfilling prophecies – tell you how it is, how to correct the problem, what will happen if you do and what will happen if you do not. Not likely always the ideal intention of a leader to say their comprehension is ideal, there is no other relevant information, there is no other relevant they would consider in specific cases – yet at the same time they give the algorithm, the formula, how to know what is right and wrong which guides path like a compass.
I told you you would do that – it reminds they are the leader, there is a reason for them being the leader, it reaffirms their own self confidence which is shaken at times due to lack of capacity to ideally comprehend – would be lovely to have 20/20 as a leader, consider it likely, inconsequential?
Desire to not misdirect path, ideally inspire and appreciate employees and fellow human beings per the Golden Rule, while at the same time establishing and inspire a clear path, goals, consolidation of trust in followers.
Solve the problem of get what I want without getting some of what I don’t want?
