Weighing part of the spectrum creates greater comprehension at times (green light or red light, categories highlighted in particular colors, orange as parking cones prison jerseys, political parties – red ties mean right?) It is difficult to know how much to turn up lessons on improving race relations. Remind people of reducing oppression too much could start being oppressive in its own right, start leading to divests is hard to fully appreciate. History does not leave all with ideal hands, ideal starting places. People are not always ideally equipped and inspired to factor in more relevant information, more relevant information factored in matters.
Teachers that are oppressed will keep teaching to a certain extent – will society really get better by reducing education? Does not equate to oppressing teachers is good, consequence free (and everyone is a teacher at some level, thus important not to oppress any).
