If I had family in the Middle East, would I suggest that ample progress is made constantly on a more peaceful path forward, or would I say September 11th, 2001 and October 7th, 2023 shows that safety is far from guaranteed? History might fix in 100 or 200 years does not equate to I would want people that I care about stuck and leveraged by the situations constantly through their lives.
I don’t want Allies waiting for the day their family members are held hostage or for the day a Russian tank runs their family over with potential to freeze to death.
