Copyright laws and desire to be unique have potential for amplifying less than ideally in a World with 8 billion+ people. In a World with Supercomputers that can generate results for all combinations, all combinations within a humans realm of perception, at all tempos, with all chord sets, with all color combinations, potentially with all words. Exponential capacity to claim ground on content taken is both possible and a less than desirable result that is a consequence of a greater population and greater computing capacity.
Either one (great population or high capacity supercomputing) would be enough alone, yet combined, combined with financial systems that profit few over others equates to Art in 2024 and beyond as a profitable system might be harder, less ideally invested in than people would like by default.
Industrial Revolution, and results of society that have maximized product lines and refinement around throughput is consequential in hard to fully appreciate ways, ways that do not profit all parties equally.
You wanted to be an Artist? Sorry you should have got a PhD in law, wrote your own laws for Intellectual Property and had them installed before you started work on your painting, album, video. That is the feeling that is generated by the way our system and laws around Intellectual Property work in my opinion.
Not sure if someone else has used something similar? In a World full of 8-billion plus people similar is both possible and likely. That equates to basically a green light for supercomputers and legalism that profits a few over others to capitalize on less than ideal ground.
Golden Rule, God and Church that claims to amplify Golden Rule, system that claims to want to be just for all people, do right by all people claimed to ideally amplify in combination with all that?
Autotune is just one example where improved process has potential to turn 1 out of 1000 to 999 out of 1000. Does not equate to I think Autotune should be banned. Ban cars because it lets some people goes as fast as others?
Laws profit a few and that is not always adequate support for all in society. Laws generate time cost and jade, for some more than others.
