In my opinion are words that matter, that are turned up because of the fact that people do not always comprehend things ideally, do not always turn up ideal representation for others. It is a risk mitigation strategy.
I am not a lawyer, doctor, judge, or professional engineer. If I say do something, vs I say you might want to do something in my opinion (as less than ideal training added) it factors into way advice is heard and used.
Don’t hurt others said beats saying Don’t hurt others in my opinion.

The words in my opinion might be turned up at times because they sound less patronizing. Taken like an order might lead to the opposite effect at times.
