Learning and E-bikes

Free Starter Diagram I worked on today, January 30th, 2024

Experience is useful, does not guarantee access to all possibilities does not equate to Experience does not add capability

Big rocks and cracks in the road, sometimes things fall out of trucks, cars, and even bicycles that increase appreciation for Helmets. E-bikes equal higher speeds, higher speeds do not equate to always easier avoidance. I have road over 100 miles – starting out on city streets is daunting, less on mind like should I or should I not be wearing a helmet might equate to greater capacity.

Safety information like what is available on YouTube is valuable, I wouldn’t have wanted to go back to the beginning and unwatch before I rode. People with E-bikes might should be reminded park paths which might be a nice ride also have potential for children and elderly walking at slow speeds, speed is more useful on street riding and capacity has potential to convolute the point. Visibility does not always amplify ideally on park paths (construction and maintenance might block ability to see further down the path).

Safer rides factors into more seeing riding as potentially useful. Cars with more practice around E-bikes is less than all value out. I like E-biking, I profit from others riding as well (cars and others, more insight is gained), I don’t want to encourage people to a dangerous activity (busy streets without a roll cage and going slower factors into greater appreciation for necessity of helmets). Number of Riders factors into City Planning likely, how many bicycle lanes are created. Faster charging E-bikes and E-bike charge stations, potentially at Parks or Gas Stations might be nice to see. Potential for spots in the city where you could swap out batteries like CO2 tanks, though current range on e-bikes if fully ridden can be a bit much – hours and many miles.

People a year, 5 years from now, 10 years from now will likely be more aware of allot around e-bikes, more people using them factors into a greater knowledge base. Learning to add new value without capitalizing on past should have done this or that is valuable, likely not always pondered. Like if someone invents the equivalent of the seat belt for bike safety 5 years from now, people might look back at me and say why didn’t he think of that. This is some value for safety, claimed as ideal comprehension of safety or possible problems would be unwise.

I am not the riders on the following video, think this is the video I originally watched (a reminder the diagrams are free not the following videos)

The above clip was taken in Dallas on January 29th, 2024 with an Insta360 Ace Pro Camera – gets great low light footage in my experience. Night riding has potential to be dangerous, not easy to hear E-bikers. Extra lighting (I was riding with several USB lights) has potential to help others see the rider better.
