It is easy to get caught up trying to find the perfect words. Trying to find the perfect words can lead to less typing practice, can lead to less volume of words, to reduced capacity to make swift decisions that are useful for creative problem solving.
While the main story an Author might want to think of all possible Villains and choose the perfect one after careful thought, an Author that is practicing just might decide to use a Dragon or a Vampire or a Poltergeist. Practice with Protagonist and Antagonist can be valuable for when an author actually tries to work on their bigger work. Swift choices can lead to works that are more like scratch paper, useful ideas that might be more useful for practice or in combination in the future.
The practice works might be less value than a finished refined edited work but to say practiced works, works that have the potential to improve typing speed, reading, re-reading speed, and editing speed is far from all value out. Better choices with words are likely to be amplified by volume of words, better strokes from an artists pencil or paintbrush are more likely to be amplified by volume of strokes on different works that challenge the artist to think and problem solve.
I am just typing thinking right now. Able to swiftly put down the words I am thinking is practice for the future, is practice communicating, has the potential to amplify my typing skills more than if I were to just think the words. I might not even be likely to think the words if I wasn’t typing. Typing gains momentum, like having a camera rolling in the room, camera film or data being used can generate a desire to provide words, provide value, to try and mine the comet that is Shiny Blue Marble (Earth) for useful data that has the potential to be turned up by Future Parties and Supercomputers.
The correct perfect choice on any given moment can be extremely valuable. From my typing practice I have the ability to reach peak speeds of 90 WPM yet my more sustained throughput over a 10 minute period is around 60 WPM. Thus my writing throughput as it appears now is around 35% of what my typing speed is, this likely can be improved, having outlines probably has the ability to improve this further. 60 Words Per Minute copying, 21 Words Per Minute writing from the top of my mind, off the cuff.
21 words per minute is perceivably lower than the maximum possible bandwidth of typing speed. 21 words per minute is better than no words per minute. 21 useful words might should be valued greater for value creation potential than retyped words at 60 words per minute. Having the next piece of music on the stand and the instrument easily accessible for next practice session factors into more potential the next piece of music will be practiced and ready for performance in the future.

I have also been trying to improve my speed of reading comprehension and pattern matching to hopefully be able to read written words faster and improve typing speed that way. Able to read faster equals potential for able to respond faster thus decreasing latency on words written and improving overall typing throughput.
I have also been working on Reducing Miscommunication and trying to improve the quality of the questions I ask. Better questions and reduce miscommunication has the potential to lead to higher quality of words written ideally, more value and less non ideal filler or sentences written wrong that need to be reworked. Some rework and editing is likely to always be needed, man is far from perfect with typos, and encouraging requirement for perfection has the potential to reduce output in much less than sufficient ways. That said reducing need for rework has the potential to be value added.
The longer a work get seems like it can begin to feel like the work is not structured and divided into ideal ways for logical digestion. If the chapters are too long potential for the reader and writer losing track of story elements, details have potential for forgotten if not left with enough emphasis or if surrounded by too much volume that makes finding them easily obfuscated. Structure like Introductions, Chapters, Outlines, and Conclusion give structure to documents that add value for both the writer and the reader.
Coherence and flows in a logical way that is still exciting and engages the reader is possible, potentially takes a bit of strategizing and preparation upfront. Inspiring volume of words without a clear outline and structure might lead to volume of words without always the most clearly coherent direction. Where the writer is going with things likely leads to desire to stay engaged with the topic or to find more information in another location. Too long between interesting and exciting amps like Encouragement, Never Say Die! Might be less than all value added.
Practicing writing factors into greater throughput, factors into making the experience easier and thinking through things that can lead to traction and momentum. Easy to put down a pen or paintbrush or musical instrument and not always have desire to pick it up again, and that can lead to put away for longer periods of history than one might like. Thus finding positive ways to inspire new value creation potential always on the agenda, making the process and practice more enjoyable factors into greater potential to actually be a skill that amplifies practice, and thus a skill that actually activates value creation.
The current word count is 6192 according to Apache Open Office Open Source Word Processing Software. That is 6192 words that might have not been typed today if I was concerned on finding the perfect words. Easy to misrepresent less practice with words as the ideal value creation mechanism, that silence leads to higher value, and while it does in some situations, that is far from all situations. Access to great writing tools that are free and powerful is huge and enabling. Programmers and Engineers have invested time and effort into creating a program that enables many in the world against problems as Significant as Oppression and Genocide. Great Tools factor into output and Open Source Software does not always get valued for the level of Value Creation it adds to the world. Small changes and enabling the World in small ways has potential to be Game Changing long term in not always fully appreciated ways.
The Future has potential for support, fostered and inspired is far from a given, and the way that the World treats Open Source Software Programmers that generate a lot of value for the World is currently and has had a precedent at times for being far less than sufficient. I care about Open Source software and think it adds a lot of value does not equal the level to which I have been oppressed in the current day is anywhere or should be considered anywhere close to sufficient for others.
6433 words being the current word count is almost close to 10 pages on Open Office in Times New Roman with 12 point font. I am looking for a logical place to make a break to a new work new canvas and 10 pages seems like a good place to invest. 6400 words plus is a worthwhile investment in typing and a worthwhile investment in familiarizing myself further with the Open Source Software and my own writing, typing skills. Potential for re-reading through this or supercomputers reading through this and being able to find potential inconsistencies or areas for improvement in my syntax and grammar that might lead to greater value creation long term. Known investment in volume of words has the potential for so much value creation is not a given.
