More Multi-threading Thoughts

Message base multi-threading and multi-processing has the potential for Power.

Message is sent.

Message is received.

Message is processed in a Sandbox (ideally independent of other messages, vs shared memory).

Message result is sent back to sender.

Nodes that can process a message can be Powerful.

If the processing task is too small potential for wasted resources versus just making a local call to get fast results via shortest path.

Messages that take distinct times to process 10 seconds, 1 minute, 10 minutes are good candidates over messages that might take only a few milliseconds to compute. Having ability to swiftly verify and tune performance on the fly could be powerful for a system that has the potential to scale both horizontally and vertically.

System is likely to get more and more distributed over time with varying time costs. Message sent to a Processor Cache and Processed by other Cores in the same processor faster than short distance fiberoptic jumps to other computers. Greater costs with larger distances such as around the World. Potential for sending tasks that are longer, like 10 minutes to systems across the World that are trusted. Fiberoptic latency for around the World might be less than ideal for all.

In the Future potential for very powerful satellites and space stations that can process like supercomputers. Transmitting data has potential for a cost, potential for solar based super computers that sit closer to the sun that act as nodes for processing data.

Knowing what tasks are valuable to break into smaller sets and can be easily regrouped once processed can lead to more ability to utilize high power systems at various distances. Potential for Cancer scan networks where intense processing of smaller parts of the image via different distributed systems could lead to results found versus not found.

Being an Enabler without being a distraction is subject to complexities possibly not easily understood without factoring in balance and life goals.

Just because a system might be able to run continuously for 1 year without human interaction does not mean doing so has no potential for non ideal reliance. Runs autonomously has the potential for not always seen, things shift, people change, potential for a computer server not being turned off or turned off without first comprehending systems that rely upon that computer server.

Performance leads to Reliance, Stability leads to Confidence with potential for Non Ideal Reduced Visibility.
