Blender is not living up to this level for me, please fix quickly

Used Circle Select, I believe the key stroke combination is C in Edit Mode
Holding down shift while using Circle Select seems to change between a mode toggle and between turning off selection of Vertexes might be a bug
Vertices and Vertexes are both plural forms of the word Vertex, the redundancy can make me question myself at times

Vertex and Vector a bit of different concepts with similarities

Working with 3D artwork and Geometry, this definition for Vertex might be a bit confusing

the point farthest from the base:the vertex of a cone or of a pyramid.

In Blender all the points that represent the end of a line segment in 3D space is a Vertex, a bit different than the top of a cone

Vector’s think Magnitude and a particular direction, like Angels adding value to my SSI account from the $0 base direction to the $1 billion direction, luckily God knows the direction and magnitude of that vector in 3D space, I on the other hand do not

Vertices = Vertexes and Vertices != Vectors, might be simple for everyone else, kind of confuses me
